Maria Davis utilizes many mediums to execute her artistic vision, including; stained glass, burlesque,painting, print, photo, drawing, and sculpture.
Tying down her overall artistic style is impossible because it is always in flux. She has been involved in the Boston arts and performance scene for 8 years. Her art is a synthesis of performance and visual art. She is known in the burlesque scene as her alter ego “Jinx the Minx”.
Jinx is a born burlesque starlet, starting in musical theater and spontaneous nudity at a very early age.
She has preformed on her own as well as with Boston’s sweethearts Thru the Keyhole Burlesquefor over 2 years. Her performances are both hilarious and sultry.She is a hurricane of sparky sensuality.
